STURD-I-FLOOR

Boise Cascade Sturd-I-Floor

Subfloor panels with an integrated layer of underlayment for performance you can count on.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Boise Cascade® Sturd-I-Floor® plywood panels are manufactured from thin layers of wood veneer laid crosswise, then bonded together with strong, moisture-resistant adhesives under heat and pressure.

This process creates a subfloor panel with a built-in underlayment* — it’s a great solution when used under carpet and pad. When other finish flooring products are used, an additional underlayment is frequently installed over the Sturd-I-Floor panel.

*For underlayment specifications for your project, refer to the APA guide.

The Tongue-and-Groove Edge Advantage

Sturd-I-Floor plywood panels with tongue-and-groove (T&G) edges add strength and stability to the floor system, helping to eliminate nail popping and squeaky floors. When placed side by side, the tongue-and-groove helps to lock the panels together for a snug fit and to maintain the recommended 1/8" spacing on the ends during installation. The T&G panels also makes installation easier by eliminating the need for blocking along long panel edges.
